Double standards – Tea Party Nation

Double standards – Tea Party Nation.

Just in case you were not aware, there are massive double standards for the government.  It is very Orwellian as all are equal, but some are more equal than others.

What has happened now that shows in the eyes of our government, some are more equal than others?

Floyd Corkins, the man who shot and wounded a guard at the Family Research Council last week and but for the heroism guard, probably would have committed a mass murder, has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in Washington.

He’s been indicted for Interstate Transportation of a Firearm and Ammunition, assault with intent to commit murder while armed and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Corkins went to the FRC, started shooting and when he was stopped, he begged not to be shot saying that he had nothing against the individuals, but he did not like the politics of the FRC.

In other words, he attacked the people at the FRC because they are conservative Christians.  Floyd Corkins was not indicted for a hate crime.

Gee, if a Christian had attacked a gay group based on his dislike of their politics and their opinions, do you have any doubt that there would be a hate crime charge?

Hate crimes are reserved for the favored political groups.   In America, there is a concept called equal justice.  You can be the richest man or woman in the county, the state or the nation and you are treated the same as the poorest man or woman.  You can be the most hated and despised man or woman in the nation and you get a fair trial.   You can be a totally disgusting individual but if you are the victim of a crime and the police can catch the perpetrator of the crime, you get your day in court, just as if you were the President of the United States.

This is no longer true.  Thanks to the hate crimes statutes, we have separate and unequal justice.  If you are deemed to be a member of a special group, you get special protections.  If you are not, then you do not.

Why did Corkins go to the FRC with 15 Chick-Fil-A bags in his backpack other than to send a message when he killed those people?

So the message from the Obama Regime is clear.  If you are a victim of a crime, you are equal but there are some victims who are more equal and who will get better justice

Rowdy Cluckers: The Chick-fil-A Rebellion – Doug Giles –

Rowdy Cluckers: The Chick-fil-A Rebellion – Doug Giles –

Well, the anti-Chick-fil-A thing sort of backfired, now didn’t it? Yep, the rabid gay crowd thought they were going to shut CFA down, but instead their fascist demands that Chick-fil-A’s Presidente Dan Cathy repent of his free speech actually catapulted the fast food chain into record profits. Cha-ching!

I have one word for that homo faux pas of trying to stifle a private company’s free speech, it’s: Ahahaha. Boy, you guys really read the pulse of the American people … Not.

Now, I will give the onerous gay activists this: Aside from the huge boom in ammo sales since Obama was elected, their boycott of Chick-fil-A actually spurred the first definitive economic stimulus of the Obama era. Muchas gracias.

Look, I knew this anti-free speech/chicken sandwich protest was going to go south when frickin’ Rahm Emanuel and Edwin Mah Lee got out in front of it. They represent America about as much as I represent PETA. I kept waiting for Mugatu from Zoolander to pop out and join them by slaughtering live chickens in a Foghorn Leghorn outfit while dancing to “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” in front of some Chippendale boys. But, alas! It didn’t happen. Who can I sue?

If there’s one thing I know about Americans it’s that they love Chick-fil-A and free speech. I guess that would be two things. And Americans peacefully showing up in the hundreds of thousands last Wednesday to Chick-fil-A restaurants from sea to shining sea showed anyone with a lick of sense that Americans are not quite ready to bow and kiss the ring of a special interest group that wants to mitigate other people’s rights to freedom of expression just because they don’t kowtow to theirs.

Which brings me to this query: What’s up with this BS that we’ve got to agree with someone’s view of gay sex before we can buy or sell chicken sandwiches? When did that edict get passed? We’re damn close to making Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi look like the most rosy, easygoing consommé ladler around.

And finally, how come the gay activists got their national dander up over Chick-fil-A’s exec not being down with Brad and Chad getting engaged, yet I haven’t heard them say diddly squat about their intentions to stage a national “Kiss In” at any American mosque or give the hundreds of black pastors who vehemently oppose gay marriage the same crap they’ve been giving Chick-fil-A. What’s the matter? You’re not scared to take them on, are you? You’re not chicken, are you?

I think this past August 1st is a foretaste of what’s coming this November 6th. It’s all about freedom for all, baby, and you dudes don’t get it. But Americans do. And they showed up in droves and waited in hot lines for hours to demonstrate they will not be bullied.

Appreciation lessons. – Tea Party Nation.

Yesterday was a record day for Chick-Fil-A.   It became a cause célèbre for real Americans across the nation.  It started when Dan Cathy, Chick-Fil-A’s CEO offered his personal opinion on gay marriage.

While Chick-Fil-A made news and had its best day ever, there are lessons real Americans should learn from the left’s assault on America and anyone who disagrees with them.

What are those lessons?

The lesson remains that the left wants conservatives to be neither seen nor heard.

When Dan Cathy’s comments were originally reported, the left went into a hormone-fueled rage.  Liberal mayors whose cities are rapidly swirling around the toilet bowl and whose primary exports are their jobs, their businesses, their productive citizens and the bodies of those killed by the out of control murder rates in their cities, screamed saying they would deny Chick-Fil-A the right to open new businesses in their cities.

The left wing media jumped all over this story.  Then an amazing thing happened.

A simple idea was born.  August 1 would be Chick-Fil-A appreciation day.

Yesterday real Americans crowded Chick-Fil-A establishments across the nation.  Some had to close early because they ran out of food.  Real Americans told stories on Facebook and Twitter about waiting an hour or more for those tasty chicken sandwiches.  In some locations, lines stretched around the Chick-Fil-A store two and three times.

The liberal media was aghast that real Americans would disagree with the official pronouncement that Chick-Fil-A was an evil company because they said so.

Shepard Smith, Fox News’ resident brain donor called it a “National Day of Intolerance.”  And the executives at Fox wonder why conservatives are checking out from watching Fox News.  We can get that kind of garbage from MSNBC.   Of course, what do you expect from a reporter who once was arrested for running down another reporter with his car in an argument over a parking space.

The left wing LA Times had one of its columnists go on a long and boring harangue about how Dan Cathy should simply learn to shut up.  Michael Hilztik begrudged Cathy his “right” to speak his mind.   Then he spent a few thousand words telling Cathy and other conservatives why they should never be heard from on this subject.  He also reminded readers of another corporate executive who dared to defy liberal orthodoxy.  That was John Mackey, the founder of the Whole Foods chain, who attacked the Obama Regime’s Obamacare tax proposal in a 2009 editorial.

Of course Hilztik forgot to mention what happened when the liberals threatened a boycott.  Conservatives launched a “buycott” and Whole Foods sales went, you guessed it, up.

While the left is busy decrying individuals and corporations who dare to support conservative positions, particularly those of social conservatives; the opposite is true for corporations and CEOs who go out and dutifully support liberal causes.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos recently gave $2.5 million to a pro gay marriage effort.  Any backlash from the media or any place else?  Nope.

Google has launched a pro-homosexual effort called “Legalize love.”  Any backlash from that?   EA Sports, the home of the famous Madden Football game franchise signed a petition opposing the Defense of Marriage Act.  Any backlash there?

The simple fact of the matter is not only is there a double standard when it comes to the media and its treatment of real Americans and liberals, there is another agenda at play.

The left does not want to debate real Americans.  The left does not want to have a discussion with real Americans.  The left wants to silence everyone who disagrees with them.

History has shown that the priority for the far left when it gains control of a nation is to do away with freedom of the press and freedom of speech first.  No dissent is allowed. Everyone must agree with the party line.

This is why there can never be compromise with the left.  You cannot compromise with a group that wants you silenced.  There can never been compromise with a group that wants to strip you of your freedom and liberty.   There can never be a compromise with a group that wants you to simply be the slave of a large socialist state.

The lamp of liberty is flickering.  The left is doing everything it can to extinguish it.

Our choice is either we fight the left at every turn or we lose.

Liberal groups punish anyone opposing homosexual “marriage”

By Emily Miller – The Washington Times

Miss Piggy, the lovable Muppet who is always trying to lose weight, will have an easier time of it now that her puppeteers have banned her from Chick-fil-A. The Jim Henson Co., creator of the Muppets, pulled its toys from the popular fast-food chain in protest of the company owner’s statement of support for traditional marriage.

Liberals are outraged that Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, son of founder S. Truett Cathy, dared to discuss Christian values as a business principle. “We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives,” Mr. Cathy told the Baptist Press in a story posted on July 16. “Our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families.”

The company also donates money to its WinShape Foundation, which, among other ministries, holds marriage-enrichment retreats. Chick-fil-A famously refuses to open for business on Sundays so employees can attend church services.

After the interview came out, Boston’s Democratic Mayor Thomas M. Menino said he would try to block the chain from opening a new restaurant in the city. “Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston,” Mr. Menino told the Boston Herald. “If they need licenses in the city, it will be very difficult — unless they open up their policies.”

The Jim Henson Co. followed with a Facebook announcement that it would no longer partner with Chick-fil-A. The private entertainment firm is run by the children of the deceased founder and produces many children’s shows, such as “Fraggle Rock” and “Pajanimals.” The statement said CEO Lisa Henson is “personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD.” A spokesman for the company would not clarify whether that meant all past profits would be donated.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a Democrat, jumped on the bandwagon Wednesday, telling the Chicago Tribune that an attempt to build a second Windy City restaurant would be “a bad investment, since it would be empty.”

In response to all this, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is organizing a Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day next Wednesday. The Fox News host posted the event on his Facebook page and, as of Wednesday, 130,000 had signed up to go to one of the chain’s 1,600 restaurants and buy food. Concerned Women for America, which is helping with turnout, said through a spokesman that the conservative group is “proud to show our appreciation to Chick-fil-A for the company’s willingness to speak up and stand firm on their traditional values in the face of criticism.”

So far, family values have served Chick-fil-A well. Sales last year increased 13 percent, to $4.1 billion, despite the lousy economy. Mr. Cathy said his family business will “stay the course,” because “we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.” Liberals should stop trying to impose their closed-minded worldview on others and enjoy some of the delicious waffle fries.
