A new Speaker – Tea Party Nation.

CNS News reported that under the leadership of House Speaker John Boehner, our national debt has risen more than $2 trillion dollars or almost $19,000 per person in this nation.

Boehner gives us sound bites about cutting spending and cutting the deficit but the reality of life is that he is not interested in doing either.

There is another painful reality we must face as well.  John Boehner is a disaster as the Speaker of the House.  With the Senate and the White House in the hands of the Democrats, the Speaker of the House is the de facto leader of the Republican Party.  He is the opposition to Barack Obama and the Party of Treason.

John Boehner has been a complete failure in this role.   He must go.  But it is not enough to say he must go.  Someone must replace him.  This must be someone with leadership skills, convictions and courage to fight for America.

 Who could replace Boehner?

Let’s start with who could not.

None of the current House leadership is good enough to replace Boehner.  Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy are just as bad.    Neither of them has stood up for Americans against the insanity that has transpired in the last two years.

There is no other Member of Congress right now who stands out enough that I could comfortably say has the aptitude to lead right now.

We need not simply a leader.  We need someone who can articulate our message and get it out to the American people.  We need someone who can take on Barack Obama, Harry Reid and the Party of Treason and run circles around them.   We need someone with the skills of a field general who understands that this is a war and we need a strategy to win this war.

There is only one person in the Republican Party or the greater conservative movement who fits the bill.

 That man is Newt Gingrich.

Newt is not currently a Member of Congress.

That does not matter.  The Constitution does not mandate that the Speaker of the House be a Member of Congress.

Newt is brilliant.  Newt is a visionary.   Newt has fought the best the Democrats had in Bill Clinton in the 90’s and he came out on top of those fights.   While the drive by media likes to give Bill Clinton the credit for the 90’s, the simple truth is that after Newt became Speaker in 1995, it was his agenda that was passed.  It was Newt’s agenda that set up budget surpluses and the prosperity of the 90’s.

It is time for conservatives to set up a draft Newt movement.

ohn Boehner must go.   He is not a leader.  He is a joke.  If he remains as Speaker of the House not only will he destroy what is left of the Republican Party, he will allow Obama to completely destroy America.

We need a Speaker committed to a conservative agenda.   We need a Speaker who can take on Barack Obama and defeat him in the battle of public opinion.  We need someone who can articulate the conservative message and conservative agenda.  We need someone who can and will implement a conservative agenda.

We need someone who is not going to have a sharp learning curve as Speaker.  We need someone who can hit the ground running.   We need someone who will be a leader on day one.

 We need Newt Gingrich.

Join me in urging House Republicans to dump John Boehner and draft Newt Gingrich to be the next Speaker of the House of Representatives.

There is a hashtag now floating around twitter.  It is simple and it is to the point.

 John Boehner must go.

He is totally unwilling to fight Barack Obama, but he is quite willing to fight conservatives.  His white flag of surrender is out and he is ready to agree to massive tax increases that will only grow the big government state but will also destroy the Republican Party

So what do we need to do?

I was not the first to come up with this idea but I was one of the first to call for getting rid of John Boehner and warning that he was going to be a disaster for the conservative movement.

On March 1, 2011, I wrote that then out of control actor Charlie Sheen was making more sense than John Boehner.  I also called for a primary opponent for Boehner.

The fight today is much simpler than trying to primary John Boehner.

If sixteen Republicans defect and refuse to vote for Boehner as Speaker, he will not have the requisite 218 votes to be reelected.

We need to put pressure on Republican Members of Congress to vote against Boehner for Speaker.

It is safe to say we already have four votes.    Those would be from the conservatives removed from Committees.   Louie Gohmert, who is one of the heroes in Congress who nominated Newt Gingrich to be Speaker during Party Leadership elections might well be a 5thvote.

That would leave only eleven members of the GOP to defect to end Boehner’s epic failure of a tenure as Speaker.

We conservatives need to reach out to every Republican member of Congress.  The message needs to be the same.  Boehner must go.

If Boehner does not go, a lot of Republicans are going to leave the Party.    If Boehner surrenders as I predict he will, he will destroy what is left of the Republican brand.    Conservatives will have no choice but to form a third party because the Republican Party will simply collapse.

If we are successful in kicking Boehner from the Speaker’s chair, who replaces him?

It cannot be anyone in the current leadership.  Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy were up to their ears in the conservative purge.  All we would be doing would be trading one bad leader for another.

 Perhaps Louie Gohmert was right.

 Perhaps we need Newt Gingrich.

The Speaker of the House does not have to be a current member of the House.  Article One, Clause Five of the Constitution sets up the Office of the Speaker of the House but does not explicitly require that the Speaker be a current member of Congress.

Gingrich would come into the job with a wealth of experience no one else could offer.   Gingrich has dealt with a Democrat President in the past and got a conservative agenda through.

Newt is a field general.  That is his greatest strength.  He can articulate a conservative vision and more importantly he can strategize to get that vision accomplished.

Of all of the potential leaders out there, Newt is the only one I can think of who I would trust and feel totally comfortable with leading the charge against the Democrats and the Party of Treason.

Newt is the only leader I can think of who we could put in charge of the House and be confident that he would not only fight, but he would win.

We have a choice.   Surrender or victory.

John Boehner will not fight.  He is too much of a coward to go up against Barack Obama.   Newt is not a coward.  He is a brilliant leader.  He would have done much better than Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee.

The day has come and we need his leadership.

Louie Gohmert is one of the wisest men in Congress.   When he nominated Newt to be Speaker in the party leadership elections, he showed that wisdom.

We should listen to Louie more often!

The New Obama Department – Tea Party Nation

The New Obama Department – Tea Party Nation.

Posted by Judson Phillips

It looks like Barack Obama is adding a new Department to the Federal Government.  This is not a formal department but it is very significant.  We should all be alarmed about it.

 What is it?

It is the Obama Department of Propaganda.

According to our friends over at the Washington Guardian, Obama has added official videographers to the White House staff.  However, as is the norm with the “most transparent administration in history” the White House has refused to disclose what the budget for this group is and they do not even list them as being government employees.

Amazingly enough the product they produce looks more like an Obama Reelection campaign commercial than recording events for history.     Amazingly enough, some of the themes from the official White House videographers dove tail with themes from the Obama campaign.

This should not be a shock to anyone.

Obama has been perfecting the concept Bill Clinton pioneered of the perpetual campaign.   Everything he does as President is geared towards one objective, that being his reelection.

With Democrats in charge, every function of government is geared towards that one objective.

Democrats see no difference between the government and the campaign.  In fact, they consider it perfectly acceptable for a Democrat to use the power of government to help them get reelected.

While we complain about the use of taxpayer dollars for the Regime to create what amounts to reelection videos, there is something far more sinister going on.

Remember the mantra of the Party of Treason is victory at any cost.   No one should be surprised that not only is the Obama Regime using the perks of government to help it get reelected, it is also using the power of government.

Las Vegas tycoon Sheldon Adelson has done more to fund those who want to see Obama voted out than anyone else.  He poured millions into Newt Gingrich’s campaign and now is doing the same for Mitt Romney.

Suddenly last week there was an announcement the Justice Department was investigating Adelson’s Corporation for possible money laundering.

If you believe that is just a coincidence that this happened now, I have some ocean front property in Las Vegas to sell you.

The message was not subtle but it was simple.  For Adelson, if he continues to help bankrolling the Romney campaign, there will be hell to pay.

This is Chicago politics.  Fortunately Adelson knows a thing or two about rough and tumble politics.

For the Party of Treason, this election is the make or break election.   If they can keep Obama in the White House, they can finish the transforming America into a socialist nation.  If Obama wins reelection, he can veto any effort to repeal Obamacare, taxmageddon or any other Republican initiative.

Unless something unprecedented happens in the next couple of weeks, Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee.   No matter what we think of Romney, we must make certain he is elected because we must vote Obama out.

If Obama gets a second term, the great nation we knew as the United States will be forever finished.

Newt is right, again! – Tea Party Nation.

What can you say about Newt Gingrich?   When he speaks, he is almost always right.

Now he is speaking out on behalf of Congressman Michele Bachmann

 From Breitbart.com:

Since first asking U.S. intelligence and security agencies to look into possible ties between Huma Abedin and the Muslim Brotherhood, the personal attacks on Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) have been relentless. First from Senator John McCain (R-AZ), and then from Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN). Bachmann quickly indicated he too should be under investigation along with Abedin.

In the middle of this spat, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has emerged in Bachmann’s defense and is literally striking down the arguments against her in broad daylight.

For example, whereas McCain had described Bachmann’s question about Abedin as an “attack,” Gingrich made it clear that it wasn’t an attack, nor was it an “allegation,” rather it was simply a “question.” And as Gingrich pointed out, “the question ought to be asked across the board. What’s the role of the Muslim Brotherhood, what are its various networks and to what degree does it now influence the United States?”

It is a legitimate question.  The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization that seeks to impose an Islamic state world wide, with Sharia law.

If you like Iran, you will love what the Muslim Brotherhood has in mind.  They freely admit their highest goal is “Jihad” and to “die in the way of Allah.”  In other words they want to die in Jihad.  In plain English, they want to conquer, kill and subjugate the infidels.  That is you and me for anyone who misses the finer point.

It is not shocking that the Party of Treason is attacking Michele Bachmann.  They attack anyone who loves this nation and believes in patriotic values.  What is very disturbing is Republicans are turning on her.

Perhaps it is not shocking that John Boehner has turned on Michele Bachmann.  Boehner acts like he takes his orders from Obama, not the people who put him in the speaker’s chair.

Michele Bachmann has been a courageous voice in the Congress.  She has stood for America and American values, even when it has been hard to do.

Where the hell is the Republican establishment?  They are putting John Boehner’s freshly laundered white flag of surrender into the breeze to see which way it is blowing.

Is it asking John Boehner and the rest of the Republican leadership too much to grow a pair?

Michele Bachmann, contrary to what the drive by media is saying, has not accused anyone of anything.  She has simply raised some important questions.

 Those questions should be answered.

If those questions were raised about the influence of communist China or North Korea or any other group, there would be no argument.  There should be none here either.

Newt said Michele Bachmann was asking questions not making accusations.

 Once again, Newt is right.

Occasionally a miracle occurs.  A friend of yours wins the lottery.  The Chicago Cubs will win the World Series sometime in the next 100 years.

A miracle may be happening in the Republican Party.  The light may be finally coming on.  Could the GOP finally realize there is a problem?

John Boehner of all people actually came out and said it.

 From Roll Call:

But at a June 30 fundraiser in Wheeling, W.Va., Speaker John Boehner offered a surprisingly frank assessment of the dynamic that surprised some in the audience.

Aside from Romney’s “friends, relatives and fellow Mormons,” Boehner said, most people will be motivated to vote for him in opposition to Obama.

The Ohio Republican made the remarks when an unidentified woman asked during a question-and-answer session: “Can you make me love Mitt Romney?”

“No,” Boehner said. “Listen, we’re just politicians. I wasn’t elected to play God. The American people probably aren’t going to fall in love with Mitt Romney. I’ll tell you this: 95 percent of the people that show up to vote in November are going to show up in that voting booth, and they are going to vote for or against Barack Obama.

 Holy Cow!

Boehner is actually showing some intelligence.

The problem here is that he is right.  The Republican Party is poised to nominate someone who fits right into the tradition of bad Republican Presidential candidates.

Honestly who the hell likes Mitt Romney?

Is anyone other than his immediate family passionate about his candidacy?  When Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich endorsed Romney, they both said the same thing.  He isn’t Barack Obama.

Their endorsements were not that he would make a fantastic President.  Their endorsements were not that he would change America for the better.  It’s just he isn’t Barack Obama.

Earth to the Republican Party!  Buy a clue while you still can.

You will never win an election by simply telling people to vote against the other guy.

If you are going to win you have to offer something and one of the things that has to be offered is passion.

Mitt Romney offers no passion or excitement.  His best future might be as the keynote speaker for Insomniacs of America.   Republicans were passionate about Michele Bachmann.  They were passionate about Rick Perry.  They were passionate about Herman Cain and are still passionate about his “9-9-9” plan.  They were passionate about Newt Gingrich.  Even Ron Paul had passionate followers.

Mitt Romney just puts everyone to sleep.

The only thing the Republican establishment seems to be able to say about Mitt Romney is that he is not Barack Obama and he is not a conservative Tea Party candidate.

If the Republican Party is to create a functioning majority, like Ronald Reagan did, it has to not only stand for something but it must have ideas and candidates that create passion.

When the highest-ranking elected Republican says voters are not going to fall in love with the presumptive nominee, then that should be a red alert message to the Republican Party that they need to do something and do something quickly.

For this election, failure is not an option.  Barack Obama must be defeated.  But as even John Boehner noted, Mitt Romney is not going to create the kind of passion that makes people go out and vote for him.

The Republican Party needs to act quickly before Mitt Romney joins that long list of Republican failures that includes Bob Dole and John McCain.

How Romney and Our Republic Can Win – Chuck Norris – Townhall Conservative Columnists

How Romney and Our Republic Can Win  – Chuck Norris – Townhall Conservative Columnists.

Last week, I showed how the Republican Party likely would lose the presidential election in November if it were to use conventional campaign tactics. However, I also explained an unconventional strategy that could usher in victory for the GOP and our republic — a tactic used by President Abraham Lincoln.

This week, I want to elaborate more on Lincoln’s concept of a team of rivals — and who could be a part of it — and also share with you the inspiring dream my wife, Gena, had that we both hope comes true.

For those who missed Part 1, a book that highlights Lincoln’s brilliant action is titled “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln,” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and presidential historian. Lincoln’s idea and action was simply this: Once elected, Lincoln brought together his former GOP competitors (each representing a political faction in the country) and created a united force that ultimately healed the divisions in the land and propelled America forward.

Why couldn’t that happen again, especially in a country as divided as ours? And why couldn’t the GOP nominee propose such a plan to boost his election probability?

The past GOP presidential competitors were and are a unique blend of gifted and talented people. How often did you think and hear others say during the GOP debates, “There are strong elements I like in all of them”? You may not have wanted to see all of them at the desk of the Oval Office, but wouldn’t you want to see most help the next president in some capacity?

Who doesn’t appreciate the resolve and moral resiliency of former Sen. Rick Santorum and Rep. Michele Bachmann? Who wouldn’t want to see our country benefit from the business background and leadership of Herman Cain? Who doesn’t like the emboldened constitutional spirit and frugal fiscal passions of Rep. Ron Paul? Who wouldn’t value Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s advocacy for jobs and against frivolous lawsuits via tort reform? Who wouldn’t want to see the foreign affairs experience of former U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman better America’s global relations? And who wouldn’t want to utilize the brilliance, bold ideas and experience of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich?

And what do you think would be the reaction of President Barack Obama and the entire Democratic Party, as well as their mainstream media minions, if the collective group above stood with Mitt Romney and said: “Vote for Mitt and you’ll get all of us in his next administration. All for one, and one for all.”

I recognize that candidates cannot choose Cabinet members or others in their administration before they are elected, but that does not mean they cannot pledge to. That is why I would ask Romney these two questions: If elected president, would you appoint your Republican rivals as a part of your administration, to utilize their skill sets as President Lincoln did with his rivals, in order to unite and restore our republic? And would you be willing to parade them on the campaign trail against President Obama to rally the country by showing a united GOP front?

Leadership guru John C. Maxwell says, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” For too long, too many of our politicians (especially presidential candidates) have expected us to sacrifice our political preferences and convictions and simply rally at their sides merely because they are the nominee. They show the way but don’t go the way of sacrificial leadership, which might make it easier for patriots of different persuasions to follow them. Politicians’ pride prohibits public swells.

It’s time for Romney to show in sacrifice (not merely in promise) that he is willing to serve our country for the next four years not only as president but by appointing his rivals to significant positions. I believe wholeheartedly that his sacrifice would galvanize the GOP base and others against the Obama campaign machine.

Incidentally, about six months ago, Gena had a dream that Romney was the GOP nominee, and during his first public debate with President Obama, up arose this team of GOP rivals behind Romney, who surprisingly introduced them. The action did rally the country behind him, and then he defeated Obama.

And for those who might call us “dreamers” for such an idea, very well then. We consider it an honor to join the ranks of all those who have dreamed for a better way, day and time — men such as George Washington, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.

We always will prefer the way of wisdom of great leaders and visionaries, including the words summarized well in “The Angels’ Little Instruction Book,” by Eileen Elias Freeman: “Pay attention to your dreams — God’s angels often speak directly to our hearts when we are asleep.”

Newt Gingrich is still out there, still working.  Every time he comes up with a great idea, we should all be asking ourselves, “How the hell did we have a candidate this good and end up with someone like Romney as the nominee?”

Newt Gingrich went to the NRA and dropped a bomb.

He said that if he were President he would offer an amendment to the UN Charter that would make the right to keep and bear arms a universal human right.

 Wow!

Gingrich points out that if that were in fact an enforceable right, there would be a lot fewer people killed by dictatorships, fewer women raped and fewer dictators surviving.

Mitt Romney went to the NRA and offered a generic offer of support for the Second Amendment.  Of course, in years earlier Romney had supported the Assault Weapons ban and other gun control measures.  But Captain Etch A Sketch is saying what ever he has to in order to get the nomination.

Newt Gingrich understands liberty, which is the most frustrating part about the traction his campaign has not gotten.  Newt points out that our rights come from God, not from man.  Ergo man is not allowed to take them.

Newt is a man for whom words like Freedom and Liberty are not simply talking points or the punch line for a speech.

As soon as the nomination is officially his, Romney will tack away from the right.  He is not a conservative and he believes the people who tell him he must move to the middle.

We will watch with dismay as he does that and if he does get elected, we will watch in disappointment as the conservative ideals he claimed he championed during the primary season are forgotten.

And many of us will be asking why the GOP did not put Newt Gingrich in the White House.

NUGENT: Allen West is a battle-tested patriot with star power – Washington Times.

By Ted Nugent – The Washington Times

When names are kicked around as to who would make a good running mate for former Gov. Mitt Romney, I can think of many great Americans for the job. Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, John Thune, Paul Ryan, Mike Rogers, Rand Paul, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Darrell Issa, Louie Gomert and others come to mind.

But Sen. Marco Rubio from Florida is justifiably at or near the top of the list. Mr. Rubio would be a wise selection. He’s a conservative who is bright and speaks his mind with a bold conviction that warms the hearts of fellow conservatives drunk on tea. Every so often, someone comes along and inspires us, gives us real hope, tells us the truth and lays out a clear vision for the future.

These patriots are not concerned with the next election, but are concerned with the good of the nation for future generations of Americans. They know the real American dream is about leaving the nation in better shape than it was when they arrived.

These statesmen don’t seek to reshape America into something our Founders never intended, but believe in restoring those unique limited government principles that made America the envy of the world or as Ronald Reagan said, “a shining city on a hill.”

They know the real greatness of America rests with individuals, not power-hungry bureaucrats who seek to control us instead of upholding the U.S. Constitution that liberates us.

I endorse Mr. Romney for president because I believe he is the right man at the right time with the right experience and with the right vision to begin pointing this wonderful experiment in self-government in a renewed, positive direction that rewards the producers instead of punishing them.

Mr. Romney is going to need help, and like the good Mr. Rubio, Rep. Allen West is another conservative shining star from Florida.

While a vice-presidential selection is Mr. Romney’s call, he would be wise to give Mr. West a strong look.

Whether Mr. West wants the job of vice president remains to be seen, but there is no debating that he has the conservative credentials, the vision and the wisdom to be second in command and someday, to be the commander in chief. He’s that great an American.

Mr. West is a bold, unapologetic, intelligent American with a clear vision for the country that is the opposite of the Obama administration’s wrongheaded, European-style vision.

A vice-presidential running mate does not typically make a difference in a presidential race, but Mr. West would obliterate that historical political paradigm. He’s a game-changer.

A Romney-West ticket would be a veritable juggernaut that would illuminate the vast chasms that separate them from the undynamic duo of President Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden.

While I deeply respect Mr. Rubio and believe he would make a strong running mate, I equally believe Mr. West would do us all proud as the next vice president of the United States. He is a leader, a patriot, a battle-tested veteran and is no doubt a shining star for the GOP and America.

Mitt Romney would be very wise to select Allen West to be his running mate.

Newt nails it. – Tea Party Nation.

Posted by Judson Phillips

Yesterday, though he was not getting much news coverage, Newt nailed it again.

Speaking to a group of Tea Party leaders in Delaware, Newt unloaded on the Republican Party.

 Newt said:

“The Republican Party is a managerial party that doesn’t like to fight, doesn’t like to read books,” he said. “This is why the Tea Party was so horrifying. Tea Partiers were actually learning about the Declaration of Independence. They wanted to talk about the Federalist Papers. It was weird. They could be golfing.”

Watching Newt work is sort of like watching a summer evening baseball game.  Newt swings and the ball sails over the fence.

In 1976, at the Republican Convention, Ronald Reagan gave his speech in support of Gerald Ford after he lost the nomination.  After that speech, many at the Republican looked at each other and said, ‘we have nominated the wrong guy.’  Four years later Reagan proved them right.

Newt is right about the Republican Party.  Mitt Romney is the quintessential manager type and that is not what we need, though it is what we are going to get.   Romney does not want to fight and he thinks he can manage his way to the Oval Office.   While his strategy of outspending his opponents worked in the primaries, it is not going to work in the general election because his best case scenario is that he has parity with Obama’s spending and the more realistic scenario is that he will be outspent.

Romney does not like to get his hands dirty and he is going to fight one of the dirtiest campaigners in the history of America.

Newt continues to fight on even though he probably knows he cannot win.

 Good for Newt.

Technically Romney has not locked up the nomination.  He does not have the 1144 delegates that he needs.   Newt’s odds of winning the nomination right now are probably only slightly lower than his chances of winning the lottery.

That does not mean Newt should not fight.  Newt should fight.  People should contribute to Newt and vote for Newt.

Why fight for a guy who has no chance of winning?

We need to send the Republicans a message.

Romney is the anti-Reagan.  Not only are his positions almost the polar opposite of what Reagan stood for but in 1980, when Reagan ran, he was the sole conservative against a field of moderates.  They divided the vote.  Reagan won.

This year, Romney was the liberal running against a field of good conservatives.  The conservatives split the base and Romney was able to be the last man standing.

The establishment wing of the Republican Party has been trying to destroy the Reagan wing of the party since 1988.   We cannot let the Republican Party become the Party of Romney instead of the Party of Reagan.

Newt gives us the chance to send the GOP a message.  I hope Newt wins a number of the remaining primaries.   I wish this one on one fight had developed while Newt still had a chance at the nomination.

Had this fight developed in January, we would be looking at Newt cruising to the nomination and we could expect “morning in America.”

Newt is the guy who could have been the next Reagan.

And later this year, as we watch this campaign evolve and Republicans compare Gingrich to Romney, many of them are going to be saying, ‘we have nominated the wrong guy.’

The Real Mitt Romney: He’s no conservative – Tea Party Nation

The Real Mitt Romney: He’s no conservative – Tea Party Nation.

Will the real Mitt Romney please step forward.  We know who the real Mitt Romney is.  He is the liberal who ran Massachusetts as a liberal.  He even says so in his own words.   Here is the real history of Mitt Romney.

Here is Mitt Romney and all of his liberal positions. How can anyone now say he is anything but a politician who will say anything to get elected. He is not a conservative and we conservatives must stop him from getting the nomination for President.
