A Tea Party Agenda – Tea Party Nation.

It is time for a Tea Party Agenda.  This is an agenda that we can point to and say if you elect Tea Party Congressmen and Senators, this is what we are going to work on.

 This agenda is based on ideas from Tea Party activists across the nation.  The idea behind the agenda is simple.  We decided that the best course would be to pick out a small number of goals that everyone would agree on.   We kept in mind that the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party does not control the leadership, so the parts of the Tea Party Agenda would have to have overwhelming support.

  Passing a Federal Government Realignment and Closure Commission bill.  This will create a commission similar to the Base Realignment and Closure Commission that was created in the 90’s to downsize the military.   The Commission will be charged to go through all non-defense spending (Since BRAC has done this for the Defense Department).  They will look for programs that are riddled with fraud and waste, are duplicates of other programs, programs that have failed or have simply outlived their usefulness.  Once the Commission makes its recommendations for elimination, the recommendations would be presented to Congress for an up or down vote.  No amendments would be permitted in this process so that no Congressman or Senator could protect a pet project.  Once passed, the bill would go to the President for signature or veto.

1. No budget/No Pay.    It is very simple.  If Congress cannot pass a budget, they should not be paid.  This is somewhat of a symbolic gesture, however every Senator and Congressman should be required to explain why they couldn’t come up with a budget.  It has been 1118 days since the Senate passed a budget.  Almost every American household keeps a budget.   Every business must keep a budget or it does not keep its doors open. 
2. Commit to pass a massive drill here, drill now plan to open up America’s vast energy resources so they can be used today.  The specific goal will be to remove every obstacle that keeps America from being energy self-sufficient and to have the price of a gallon of gas be $1 on January 1, 2015.  This will be a massive stimulus to the economy if we can do this. 
3. Repeal the current income tax system and replace it with 9-9-9.  9-9-9 is not a perfect system but it is a viable idea.  The current tax system is broken.  It benefits accountants and tax lawyers and anyone with enough influence to buy a tax exemption from Congress.   The tax code is so confusing, even the IRS does not understand it.  We should simply make April 15^th just another day on the calendar.
4. Require that every bill Congress considers be a stand-alone bill.   That means every bill congress considers should cover only one topic.   There should be no more 2700 page bills that no one wants to read or even has the time to read.  This is a reform that will cost no money, could slow down Congress’ spending habits and will stop them from saying they did not have a chance to read the bill or Pelosi from telling America, a bill must be passed to see what is in it.

 This is a simple agenda that can be passed.  That is the idea.  This should be an agenda we can take to the American people and ask our Tea Party Senators, Congressmen and candidates to embrace. 

 It will not solve all of our problems, but it will be a start.

Black pundits say that to be black and Republican makes one a despicable race-traitor worthy of no-holds-barred punishment. As a black conservative Republican, I’m not frightened by this; it just angers and frustrates me.

My frustration comes from the knowledge that those claiming to have black America’s empowerment and best interest at heart are the “elephant-in-the-room” problem. They lie to black America. Who are “they”? They are democrats committed to keeping blacks viewing themselves as victims. They are racist bitter black politicians with huge chips on their shoulders, seeking eternal “payback” for America’s original sin of slavery. These black politicians are rewarded by the democrats for delivering black votes.

So there you have it, black America: these are your so-called advocates. And how do they help you? They lie to you. They tell you that 70% of black youths dropping out of high school is not your fault. They tell you that prisons filled with black males is not their fault. They tell you that 80% of black kids growing up without a father is not your fault. They tell you that black genocide – half of black pregnancies ending in abortion — is not your fault.

They tell you English is too difficult to learn and that standards must be lowered. They tell you that blacks who speak correct English are traitors trying to be white. They tell you that despite the fact that showing proper ID is required to board an airplane and a za-gillion other things, requiring ID to vote will disenfranchise blacks. Thus, their message is that blacks are too stupid to acquire ID.

When I was growing up in the black ghetto of east Baltimore, several corners had grocery stores owned by Jews. Later the Jews were replaced by Asians. Huge families lived upstairs, and their store was down stairs.

The community resented Jewish and Asian store owners in black neighborhoods. I always thought, “Why?” These people did not receive a start-up check from the government. They took a risk. They rented in the black ghetto because it was cheaper. They worked long hours. Experience taught them to install a wall of bullet proof glass, separating them from their customers. Fourteen, fifteen family members lived above their businesses. These Jewish and Asian people were pursuing the American Dream the best way they knew how. What was stopping their black customers from doing the same thing? Answer: In many cases, blacks were relying on democrat welfare programs.

I hear you – democrat brainwashed fellow blacks yelling at me: Lloyd, you Uncle Tom SOB! America is racist, and blacks did not have a fair shot in those days!

Yes, racism was an issue in those days. But how do you explain the entrepreneurial success of black millionaires in Harlem in the 1920s?

Blacks have been congressmen and business owners in America since the 1800s. And yet, democrats continue to tell us that we are incapable of finding our way to acquire an ID.

Democrats and bitter, small-minded blacks insist on forcing blacks into their “black box”. They say authentic blacks must have had a “ghetto experience”.

When the Bill Cosby Show first hit TV, it was highly criticized because the sitcom black father was a doctor and his family lived in a nice home. I heard the same criticism of Diahann Carroll in her TV sitcom, Julia in which she played a successful black nurse – not reflective of the black experience. The Cosby Show and Julia were outside of the democrat-promoted “black box”.

In my youth, I met a black Master Swordsman. Excited, I carted him around to black community centers because I wanted black kids to see that blacks could be successful in fields beyond entertainment and sports.

Despite blacks succeeding today in almost every area of American life, democrats continue to portray black Americans as still getting-the-short-end-of-the-stick. Democrats promote an image of the authentic black experience as a majority in need of government entitlements, as people who can’t find their way to acquire ID – sitting at home watching Maury on TV, anxiously awaiting for the results of the DNA test to discover the name of Keysha’s baby’s daddy. This is the democrat’s black America.

This is not black advocacy or empowerment. It is demeaning, humiliating and crippling. Why can’t my fellow blacks see this obvious truth?

I am a Republican because the Republican Party respects my intelligence – no special concessions or lowered standards.

In the 1950’s, my dad was one of the first blacks to break the racist color barrier into the Baltimore Fire Department. The white firefighters rejected my dad and made conditions horrific for him. Still, dad won “Firefighter Of The Year” two times. That’s what I am talking about!

Given the opportunity, in their typical denigrating of black intellect, democrats would argue that requirements for Firefighter Of The Year be lowered to give my dad a “fair” shot at it. Lowered standards would have robbed dad of the dignity and pride of his achievement. Thank God such was not the case.

Dad, a black man, won Firefighter Of The Year because he was the best! Yes, I am a black conservative Republican and proud of it. All you blacks who think the democrats are your friends, wake up and smell the betrayal.

The Washington Times is usually pretty good, but they really blew this one.   They claim that Romney is now getting Tea Party support.  The writer for the Times either didn’t know better or engaged in some creative writing.  Among other things, he claims that Freedomworks has dropped its opposition to Romney, something that Freedomworks denies.

 

The Times in its blatant desire to see Romney as the nominee claims that Freedomworks launched the Tea Party movement.  Ignoring the fact that is not true, I don’t think even Freedomworks makes that claim.  They did help organize a big DC rally in 2009, which was one of the most impressive rallies held, but the movement launched months before they became involved. 

 

The desperation of the Romney crowd to get him anointed as the nominee is becoming disgusting and desperate.  It reminds me of the bum’s rush a used car salesman gives a customer so they will buy before they realize how bad a deal they are getting.

 

And we are already starting to see this. 

 

On CNN this morning, Romney’s communications director, one Eric Fehnstrom announced that once the primary was over, Romney would be “resetting.”

 

HOST: Is there a concern that Santorum and Gingrich might force the governor to tack so far to the right it would hurt him with moderate voters in the general election.

 

FEHRNSTROM: Well, I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign. Everything changes. It’s almost like an Etch A Sketch. You can kind of shake it up and restart all of over again.

 

Restart it all over again? 

 

In plain, non-RINO English that means as soon as the primary is over, Romney is going to move far to the left.  We will see the real Romney.  We will see the Romney Massachusetts saw and did not like for four years.  We are going to see what we will really be getting with the Massachusetts liberal.

 

Guess what? 

 

We are not going to like it.

 

This is going to be 2008 all over again, except this time it will be worse.  Romney has ignored the conservative base and has made it a point of trying to win without the base.  He has done this because he had a huge money advantage.  He has outspent opponents anywhere from 5-1 to 21-1 in the Illinois primary.

 

Romney advisors have already said, despite Romney’s promise, he is not going to repeal Obamacare.  Now we have someone in the Romney campaign basically saying he will move to the left as soon as he is absolutely certain he has the nomination. 

 

It is not too late to stop Romney and this is what we must do.

 

We must support both Gingrich and Santorum.   Neither can win at this point but they can still stop Romney. 

 

While I do not speak for the Tea Party, I think I have a pretty good understanding of this movement and I believe this movement does not support Mitt Romney.

 

Romney is not an anti-American Marxist like Obama but beyond that there is little difference.  If elected he will govern from the left and destroy not only the Republican Party but also the conservative movement.

 

This is why we must act to try and stop him at the convention while we still can.

Behind multicultural push is effort to degrade American culture

Diversity is America’s greatest strength, according to the left and its socialist, Marxist, commie cohorts and co-conspirators running rampant across the country.

If you listen carefully to these America-hating, social-engineering liberals, virtually all behavior, conduct, morals and beliefs make America stronger.

This, of course, is toxic, brain-dead logic that leaves ordinary Americans shaking and scratching their heads in confusion and disgust. We recognize bull dung when we hear, see and smell it, and we have no desire whatsoever to embrace it.

The left’s definition of diversity does not make America stronger. It is weakening and destroying America. Let’s be bold and honest: The left’s version of diversity is repugnant.

Hey, I’m your biggest supporter if you want to swan-dive naked into a pool of goat urine. What I will never support is trying to make it mandatory for everyone to do it.

Those Americans who stand up to the left’s diversity mantra are pilloried and labeled as pernicious, vile, intolerant, racist, backward Bubbas.

The left is forcing its version of diversity throughout our society and culture. According to the left and its acolytes, we are supposed to respect people who refuse to respect Old Glory or learn English, look for a job or put forth the effort to do an honest day’s work. We are supposed to respect all cultures, values, laws and religions – even when they have proved throughout history to be dangerous and diametrically opposed to our American way of life, customs, laws and traditions.

It will be a cold day in hell before I embrace voodoolike religions and unclean stone-age cultures that retard progress instead of advancing it.

The real issue is that by forcing diversity and multicultural nonsense in our workplaces, schools and government agencies on people who still cherish common sense and traditional American values, we’re ripping the nation apart.

Meanwhile, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. reverts to covering up his ineptitude by trying to disguise it with the race card, the ultimate act of racism. Mr. Holder doesn’t have the dignity or respect for his position to resign. He’s a national embarrassment.

I respect diverse people who respect and cherish basic American customs, traditions, goodwill and values. I have no respect for left-wingers who employ intimidation to make multiculturalism or diversity mandatory as the law of the land.

The diversity punks believe in racial set-asides and preferences. You won’t ever solve discrimination by engaging in reverse discrimination. Maybe a racist like Jesse Jackson or Mr. Holder believes in reverse discrimination, but ordinary Americans do not. We are much too focused and intelligent to buy into such Jabberwocky.

Real diversity, real change, real progress is accomplished by promoting and embracing Western culture, values and traditions, which is what made America great and created the greatest quality of life ever. Weakening this proven methodology under the artful guise of diversity, multiculturalism and political correctness is every bit as insidious a threat to America as are voodoo-inspired terrorist punks.

Diversity is an intentional left-wing disaster and destructive platform. The result of the left’s efforts to force this cultural rot on America is that there is more cultural rot, more social and racial division and less economic activity.

The politically correct punks who are trying to force their brain-dead ideology on America are intolerant and destructive. When you hear someone promoting diversity, consider that person an anti-American stooge. Such punks have a sinister agenda that is anti-American, anti-free-market and anti-freedom.

The left’s version of diversity is social, cultural, economic and ethnic rot. Believe it.

It’s fun watching Democrats getting hauled off to jail

At least the Three Stooges were hilarious. The Occupy stooges are much different, though they certainly qualify for classic numskull stooges nonetheless. They are dirty, political punks. I seriously doubt the majority of them could identify five reasons why they are protesting. No one else in the country can.

You don’t need to search the Internet far to read story after story of the Occupy stooges committing crimes, fighting the cops, destroying personal property, stinking the place up and engaging in other noble expressions of First Amendment rights. I find that beautiful – priceless, actually. Only human cockroaches spotlight themselves.

The Occupy stooges are almost as funny and goofy as the Three Stooges.

What America is witnessing is the Democratic Party on parade. I say let the parade of simple stooges continue. Let them continue to demand something for nothing, try and close down streets, fight with the cops, live in filth, dance like Timothy Leary zombies. It’s beautiful. It’s so Democratic Party.

Let working hard, playing hard mom-and-pop America witness the Democratic Party in all its shameless, numskull and dirty glory. As the party clowns work tirelessly to falsely paint conservatives as heartless, cold, evil, sexist and racist, I say conservatives should do whatever we can to encourage the Occupy stooges to stay on course, painting themselves for what they are.

While I don’t condone violence, watching the cops pounce on and pepper-spray a few Occupy stooges and then drag the dirtballs off to jail in shackles is good for my conservative soul and gold for my sense of humor. Everyone needs at least one hearty laugh every day.

You have to admit that watching a stinky, dirty hippie being dragged off to jail is as funny watching James Brown drive across railroad tracks on the rims of his pickup truck, listening to Joe Biden stick his foot in his mouth, or watching Moe hit Larry and Curly with a pipe wrench. This is funny stuff, funny stuff. Lighten up.

What America is witnessing by watching the Occupy clown brigades is the future of America if the Democratic Party is in control. What America needs to witness and have seared into our consciousness are the Occupy stooges, those proud socialist punks who want something for nothing.

Americans should not forget how the Occupy stooges destroyed property and got dragged off to jail. Let us also not forget how the Tea Party goes about peacefully protesting and no one gets hauled off to jail. Quite a difference. Remember that, America.

The Occupy stooges are an early conservative Christmas present. Sit back, pop some popcorn with real butter and watch the base of the Democratic Party on parade. They are providing a great source of entertainment, plus many of them get dragged off to jail. Who could not possibly find this funny and entertaining? Don’t get angry with the Occupy stooges, encourage them. They are the “dream ticket” for conservatives and the Republican Party.

Come on, Mr. President, the least you can do for us evil conservatives is encourage the base of your party to continue marching, protesting, whining, raising havoc and demanding something for nothing. March with them, Mr. Obama, and stand up for real community organizing.
