RED ALERT! CSCOPE! – Tea Party Nation

RED ALERT! CSCOPE! – Tea Party Nation.

The word needs to be gotten out to the American grassroots about this!

This past week, Glenn Beck exposed a new educational system that Obama and the Progressive Socialists put in place, called CScope in TX and Core Curriculum in the rest of the country, and he showed the evidence from their materials, that they are actually teaching school kids all over the country, that Communism is the best system!

They have gotten away with this, by making teachers sign proprietary non-disclosure agreements and preventing parental and state oversight of this curriculum!
Teachers are getting fired for helping expose this, and refusing to teach it!

People need to be screaming bloody murder about this, but of course the mainstream media is in the tank for the Socialists!…

If you can get a free trial for Blaze TV, go watch last week’s expose’s of this!

If this isn’t stopped, it will all be over, for capitalism!

PLEASE distribute this to as many Americans as you can!

Message For International Election Meddlers: “Butt Out” – Bob Barr –

Message For International Election Meddlers: “Butt Out” – Bob Barr –

When I voted yesterday in Smyrna, Georgia, I exchanged pleasantries with poll workers, watched children waiting patiently in line with their parents, and shook hands with a local candidate I know. It was, despite the Rainy Day in Georgia, a thoroughly pleasant and uplifting experience – as voting in a free country should be. Unfortunately, but reflecting a clear trend toward confrontational voting, some voters in other communities and states were not so fortunate.

In some areas, such as Philadelphia, so-called “New Black Panther Party” members, decked out in black berets, metal insignias, sunglasses and special forces-styled black jackets, stationed themselves strategically at polling place entrances in a clear effort to intimidate voters and poll workers. In other areas, “observers” from foreign countries watched for signs of “voter suppression” or “intimidation” – which to these self-styled election experts from such renowned democracies as Serbia, Belarus, Albania, Krygystan, and Kazakhstan, is defined as simply checking voters’ ID cards in order to make sure they are who they say they are and are in fact properly registered.

In still other areas, union officials – fearful of seeing their already slim influence in our country’s political system weakened further – scrambled to place “observers” in key polling sites favorable to pro-union candidates. Of course, as has become commonplace since the “hanging chad” election in 2000, legions of lawyers fanned out across the country — especially in states deemed to be Electoral College “battlegrounds” — ready to move the election’s venue from the ballot box to the courtroom as soon as polls began to close.

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of all this is the move toward the “internationalization” of U.S. elections. This development not only emboldens the dysfunctional United Nations and other multi-national bureaucracies, but also raises the specter of future U.S. election results being challenged in international judicial forums.

The primary vehicle for this attempted international interference in our country’s domestic election processes is the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a relic of the Cold War. The OSCE has no real purpose in life, other than serving as a vehicle by which its 56 members are able to proclaim it to be “the world’s largest regional security organization.”

What Voter ID laws in some 33 American states have to do with “regional security” in Europe escapes me; but for some reason the Obama Administration sees a link. According to the official OSCE website, the U.S. Mission to that organization issued an “official invitation” earlier this Fall for it to send nearly four dozen officials to monitor our electoral process – from campaign activities to vote counting. The OSCE, through its component bureaucracy, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), will then issue a report letting us and the world know whether our elections measure up to its high standards and those of its member states, such as Albania and Krygystan.

Thankfully, and unlike the official U.S. Mission to OSCE, some elected officials in our country have told these foreign observers to “butt out.” Attorneys General in Texas, Oklahoma and Iowa, for example, have put the head of the OSCE/ODIHR on notice that any international “observers” who attempted to interfere in their states’ electoral processes, will face criminal prosecution.

Janez Lenarcic, the Slovenian diplomat who heads the ODIHR, bristled at the threat of prosecution, declaring that the U.S. has an “obligation” to grant his observers access to American polling sites and processes. This is nonsense, of course, but some election officials still kowtow to these international meddlers. For instance, Mark Anderson, the election supervisor for Bay County, Florida was photographed obediently demonstrating to the head of the ODIHR Monitoring Mission how that county’s voting machines worked.

Affording these international meddlers any credibility or implication that we “owe” them any access to, or explanation about, our domestic voting processes, plays right into the hands of those who wish to have various international organizations, including the United Nations, become formally involved in all manner of legal and domestic issues, from guns to the Internet. Predictably, the OSCE and the ODIHR have found allies not only in the current Administration, but also among liberal groups operating in the private sector, including the discredited ACORN.

The best response to this institutionalized meddling in our electoral process – whether by some international bureaucracy, an organized labor group, or a black militant organization – is to follow the lead of the Texas, Oklahoma and Iowa Attorneys General, and put them on notice they will not only be unwelcome intruders in our elections, but will be prosecuted for thus interfering.

International inspectors are there to make sure you vote properly

Those who fear that voter fraud will play a corrupting role on Election Day shouldn’t worry. The Europeans are coming to save the day.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is sending 44 observers to monitor U.S. election procedures. According to the organization, teams of two will fan out to “follow campaign activities, the work of the election administration and relevant federal and state institutions, implementation of the legislative framework, and the resolution of election disputes.” The OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights has been poll watching in the United States since 2002, but its charter was established to promote democratic development in post-Cold War Eastern Europe, not give the international community oversight over the United States.

The OSCE missions since 2002 have been largely unobtrusive, but this year there is a sense that the foreign observers are bringing prejudice with them. OSCE representatives met last spring with American left-wing pressure groups challenging state voter registration laws. Earlier this month the NAACP, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union sent a letter to OSCE delegation chief Ambassador Daan W. Everts charging there is “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities, low-income people, women, young people, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.” The OSCE said they “took note of the issues they raised” and asked “observers in the field to follow up on them.” The OSCE has also come out against voter identification laws, charging they discriminate and suppress voting.

Some state officials object to potentially biased international oversight. Alabama Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard is calling for legislation to require poll watchers in Alabama to hold U.S. citizenship. “If you can’t participate in an election in the United States,” he said, “and if you can’t cast a vote in the United States, you really have no business serving as a poll watcher in an election being held in the United States.” Some of the observers are from countries that are not known for upholding the democratic tradition, such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. For them an American election should be a learning experience, not an opportunity to intervene in favor of liberal pressure groups.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott was more to the point. In a letter to Ambassador Everts, he said that observers were welcome to “learn more about [Texas’] election processes so they can improve their own democratic systems,” but that outsiders “are not allowed to influence or interfere with the election process in Texas.” He noted that the “OSCE’s representatives are not authorized by Texas law to enter” or to “maintain a presence within 100 feet of a polling place’s entrance.” If the monitors failed to comply with Texas law, they could face criminal prosecution, he warned.

The OSCE compromises its impartiality by cultivating ties with interest groups so closely aligned to the Democratic Party. If the observers focus on the issues that trouble leftists, their mission is dead on arrival in terms of legitimacy. American voters already have a critically biased and politically partial Justice Department to worry about. The last thing they need is sniping from left-leaning foreigners.

The Year of the Tea Party Senators continues – Tea Party Nation.

Posted by Judson Phillips

We have called this year the year of the Tea Party Senator.  As we had conservatives sweep into the House in 2010, Tea Party Senators are set to sweep into the Senate this year and will change things up in Washington

 What is happening now?

 From the Daily Caller:

Ted Cruz now holds a solid 10-point lead over his opponent Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst heading into Tuesday’s Senate Republican primary.

A Public Policy Polling poll released Monday found the former Solicitor General, Cruz, with 52 percent support to Dewhurst’s 42 percent. The numbers show continuing momentum for Cruz, who two weeks ago led by half that margin: 49 percent to 44 percent.

Dewhurst will head into Tuesday already disadvantaged, as Cruz leads 55 percent to 40 percent among voters who cast a ballot during the past week in early voting. Unfortunately for him, Cruz also leads 49-44 among voters who plan to vote on Tuesday.

Cruz holds a whopping lead among the tea party, which has served as his base for much of the primary. He also leads among younger voters. Dewhurst leads among non-tea partiers and seniors.

The poll validates the Cruz campaign’s strategy of pushing for a run-off and winning in a midsummer, low-turn out race, where the candidate with the most enthusiastic supporters would be victorious. Indeed, “very excited” voters support Cruz over Dewhurst 63 percent to 33 percent, a group that composes 50 percent of Republicans, according to the poll.

Cruz has a smaller lead among “somewhat excited” voters. Dewhurst leads among the “not that excited” voters, but they compose only 21 percent of likely primary voters polled by PPP. And, as “not that excited” voters already lack enthusiasm, it’s possible they will not turnout to vote in the first place.

The race, which has attracted attention from conservatives nationwide, has also turned into something of a proxy way between two of the biggest names in Republican politics. Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Cruz, the poll finds, makes 31 percent of voters more likely to vote for him, while 24 percent are less likely.

The good news is we are sending some good conservatives to Washington.  When Cruz wins the primary tomorrow, he will effectively win the seat as Texas is a deep red state.  In Indiana, Richard Mourdock defeated the crown prince of the RINO’s, Richard Lugar and he does have an opponent in the fall election.  Joe Donnelly, a liberal Indiana Congressman who would have lost his reelection bid for Congress, is fighting for the Senate seat.  Mourdock should take that seat but it will not be as easy as Cruz’s general election battle.  In Nebraska, Deb Fischer is facing retread liberal Bob Kerry.  In Ohio, a great young conservative, Josh Mandel is taking on one of the worst members of the Senate, far left wing nut Sherrod Brown

The Senate is going to be different in January.  Not only will the Republicans take control but this Senate will be a more conservative Senate.

Hopefully a conservative Senate and a conservative House can save us from taxageddon, Obamacare and the damage done by the Party of Treason for the last four years.

The Devil’s bargain

The Devil’s bargain

USA Today had an editorial about the Aurora shooting, where it referred to the Second Amendment as the “devil’s bargain.”

There is a devil’s bargain, but it has nothing to do with the Second Amendment.  What is it?

The devil’s bargain is listening to liberals and allowing them to make any decisions for our government.  Let’s put it in terms the left understands.  “Liberals lied, people died.”

Liberals have a set formula they work every time and we let them get away with it every time.

The formula is the left picks a target, something that works that they do not like.  They start causing as many problems as they can to keep the system from working right, then declare the system broken and the only solution is their bad idea.

In 1996, Congress passed the Anti Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act.  The idea was to make the death penalty more effective and faster.  The federal government decided it would throw billions of dollars into training so that death penalty convictions would not be set aside due to ineffective lawyers and convicted criminals would not spend 20 years on death row before execution.

All the law did was gum up the works even more.  Now, sixteen years later, dozens of convictions and death sentences are thrown out every year because of “ineffective assistance of counsel.”  Defendants now spend even longer on death row.  With the possible exception of Texas, condemned criminals are more likely to die of old age and natural causes than have a date with the executioner’s needle.

Now, the same liberals who have totally screwed up the criminal justice system are announcing it is irrevocably broken and the only solution is what they wanted from the beginning, namely the abolition of the death penalty.

In an editorial today, the brain donors on the editorial staff of USA Today called the Second Amendment a “devil’s bargain.”  They wailed, “It’s a devil’s bargain that allows millions of law-abiding people to own and use guns responsibly, while accepting thousands of deliberate and accidental shootings a year, including the sort of perverse tragedy that occurred in Colorado.”

No, the devil’s bargain is listening to liberals, like the editorial staff of USA Today.

None of the mainstream media pointed out some salient facts.  Aurora Colorado has strict gun control laws.  The movie theater told its patrons that it was a gun free zone.

The simple truth is, because liberals had successfully barred guns from that movie theater, the shooter had a target rich environment with no real threats.

Had there been one or two armed citizens in the audience, the story would have been different.

Liberals have been desperate to disprove the obvious.  The obvious is that had people in the movie theater been able to shoot back, the death toll would not have been so high.

The liberal media reached out to some liberal big city police chiefs who parroted the party line back that armed citizens would not have helped.

When you get away from the guys who spent their careers in air-conditioned offices, schmoozing their way to the top and talk to the cops who are on the street, another story emerges.

I interviewed several current or former police officers for a blog and they all said the same thing.  One or more armed citizens would have made a difference.  Would they have killed the shooter?  Probably not, though that would have been a possible outcome.  At the least, since he was not a trained shooter, it would have been a distraction.  Could they have wounded him or pinned him down and allowed more people to escape?  That is an almost certainty.

Liberalism is a fact free zone.  John Adams said facts are hard things and liberals never like to be confused with facts.  Liberals believe things always are as they should be, never as they actually are.

Gun control has been tried.  It has failed.  Look at major American cities with restrictive gun control laws.  They are free fire zones for criminals.   Look at both Australia and the UK where gun ownership has been banned.  Violent crime is through the roof because criminals know victims are defenseless.

Look at two nations where just the opposite is true, Switzerland and Israel.  In both nations, most adults have military issued firearms.   They do not have mass shootings.  Israel has terrorist attacks but the preferred method of terrorist attack is the homicide bomber, not the shooter.

The one constant all of these mass shooting have is they took place in venues where the shooter knew the victims would be unarmed.

Thomas Jefferson said it best in 1764, when he said, “”Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

The answer is not gun control.  We get those calls every time we have one of these incidents.

The answer is an armed, trained and self-reliant citizenry.

Editorial Note:  I refuse to identify the Aurora shooter by name.  He should not be glorified or even get his 15 minutes of fame.  It is the victims of the Aurora shooting that should be remembered, not this criminal.

Dead dogs for Obama –

Exclusive: Roger Hedgecock exposes voter registration of animals, deceased, illegals

by Roger Hedgecock

Voter fraud is the big issue that may decide the outcome of this election

In Seattle, Wash., last month, Brenda Charlston received a voter registration form in the mail from the Voter Participation Center with all the blanks filled in for “Rosie Charlston,” her black Labrador who died in 1998.

The Obama supporting center says it has mailed some 5 million forms using commercially available databases to target Democratic-leaning groups such as unmarried women. What did they use in the Brenda/Rosie mailing? The dead dog mailing list?

In June, in Buford County, Va., Tim Morris received a filled-out voter registration form for “Mozart Morris” addressed to “Mo,” his dog that passed away two years before. Again, the form came in the mail from the Voter Participation Center.

In Bernalillo County, N.M., an anonymous Republican registered his dog as a voter at a voter registration booth at the University of New Mexico to show how easy it would be to defraud the system. Election officials claim they followed the law and referred the case to state prosecutors for criminal investigation of the dog owner!

Election officials throughout the country report a surge of voter registrations from animals, dead people and noncitizens.

Republicans believe Obama is depending on these registrations to win the election and want laws requiring voter ID at the polls. Democrats charge that Republicans are trying to suppress the vote to increase the odds of a Romney win.

This Democrat charge formed the basis of a lawsuit by Obama’s Department of Justice to block a Texas law that requires voter photo ID to vote. Texas is one of 26 states with such laws.

The DOJ claimed the requirement would bar eligible voters from voting and that the cost of getting the proper ID amounted to a “poll tax.” The Texas law provides for a free state ID to anyone lacking a driver’s license or other photo ID.

A study by a DOJ expert produced a long list of Texans who lacked government-issued photo ID and, it was alleged, were thereby disenfranchised. The list and the study were a fraud.

The list turned out to contain the names of 50,000 dead people, 330,377 seniors who can vote by mail without ID, 261,887 voters who included a driver’s license number on their voter registration form, 800,000 Texans who were, in fact, registered to vote and who did have a government issued photo ID.

The list also contained the names of Texans with U.S. military ID (acceptable for photo ID to vote), former Texas residents who had moved to other states, disabled voters who were exempt from the Texas photo ID law and noncitizens.

Strangely, the list of those who “lacked government issued ID” included former President George W. Bush, two state legislators and the wife of another, former U.S. Sen. Phil Gramm, current U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and even the Texas director of elections, Keith Ingram – who was listed not once but twice!

However, even the Texas attorney general has yet to find the names of any dogs, living or dead, on the list.

Obama’s DOJ also went after Florida for passing a similar law. It seems that Obama voters who were dead, felons or noncitizens would not get to vote.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott ordered county election officials to examine the integrity of the voting rolls. In the first review, the names of 83,000 dead people were discovered still registered to vote.

The dead deserve representation given the estate-tax debate, but the law does not yet allow them to vote.

DOJ also objected to Florida’s insistence that felons be barred from voting.

Noncitizens were also found on the voter rolls, and Gov. Scott fought to get access to the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements, or SAVE, database. SAVE will allow Florida to purge the voter roll of noncitizens.

In a strange, parallel world, the Obama Agriculture Department requires ID on every cow, and now on every chicken, on every American farm.

Obama wants to trace the movement of farm animals but not illegal aliens; he wants to ID every farm animal to protect the public health but does not want to ID voters to protect the integrity of elections.

With the memory still fresh that the 2000 presidential election was decided by a handful of voters in Florida, the determination of who gets to vote in 2012 could decide who will be the next president.

Holder Hypocrisy – Tea Party Nation

Holder Hypocrisy – Tea Party Nation.

Posted by Judson Phillips

Have you heard about Eric Holder and his speech in Texas yesterday?   Holder is a hypocrite.

Actually we can’t call Eric Holder a hypocrite.  Hypocrites say they believe one thing and yet do another.  He is acting in accordance with his beliefs.

What is he doing and what are his beliefs?

His beliefs are he is a extreme far left wing agitator.   But even by his standards, this is funny.

Holder has been screaming about the legitimate efforts of states to combat voter fraud.   He does not like states that try to make sure elections are accurate and fraud resistant because those states make it almost impossible for Holder and the Party of Treason to steal an election.

One of Holder’s signature efforts is to try and block voter ID laws.

Holder spoke yesterday to the NAACP, which has an equally hysterical record in trying to stop voter ID laws.  According to both Holder and the NAACP, it is racist to require someone to show ID in order to vote.  If you want to buy beer, cigarettes, go into a Federal Building, fly a commercial airliner, take a train or a bus, open a bank account or write a check, you have to have an ID.

That is apparently not racist but requiring someone to show an ID for voting purposes is.

If you happen to be a member of the media and you wanted to cover Holder’s speech in Texas yesterday, you had to show a government issued ID.   Wait, isn’t that racist?

Holder is in the process of suing Texas over its voter ID law.

Perhaps we should simply laugh at these fools.

What is amusing is that while Holder screams about voter ID laws, James O’Keefe and Project Veritas went to Holder’s voting place in the District of Columbia and asked for Holder’s ballot to vote.  They could have voted in Holder’s place, if they had wanted to.

The cries from Obama, Holder, the Party of Treason and the NAACP are simply a joke.  No one who has three functioning brain cells left believes any of these clowns.

Voter Fraud is a staple of Democrat politics.  We saw it in 2000, as the Democrats tried to steal the Presidential Election.  We have seen it when Al Franken stole his Senate seat.  We have seen it in other elections, where Democrat votes mysteriously appear at the last minute to push the Democrat over the Republican in a tight election.

The old adage vote early and vote often came from Democratic Chicago, where ballot stuffing was raised to an art form.

Holder understands, just as Obama understands, the only way the Party of Treason will win the election this year is for them to steal it.  They are doing their best.

Texas is for the most part a sideshow in the voter fraud wars.  Texas will go red this election.   The real battles are being fought in the swing states like Florida, where once again the election may be decided.

The real danger here is if the Party of Treason has its way, free and fair elections in America will become a thing of the past.

This is the real danger of Eric Holder and Barack Obama and that is no laughing matter.

Another Electric Car Causes Fire – Tea Party Nation

Another Electric Car Causes Fire – Tea Party Nation.

Note: This first appeared in’s Big Government.

The Chevy Volt fire denials are getting harder and harder to maintain:

Last week, a fire badly damaged the home of a new Fisker Karma owner, and authorities are saying that the electric car was the source of the blaze.

According to Fort Bend County, Texas, chief fire investigator Robert Baker, the Fisker Karma started the fire that spread to the house.

“Yes, the Karma was the origin of the fire, but what exactly caused that we don’t know at this time,” he said. The car was a complete loss.

According to the report, the Karma car, which was not plugged in, caught fire less than three minutes after being driven into the garage and that the battery remains intact.

General Motors (GM) and the Barack Obama Administration have been all along ignoring at least five Chevy Volt fires, and blaming the one to which they would cop on a total-loss accident that caused severe damage to the Volt’s lithium-ion battery.

This Karma lithium-ion battery was not in a crash, and “remain(ed) intact” after the fire.  So much for the GM-Obama Volt “fix.” Read more of this post

So Fake It’s Real: Global Warming is Reality TV for the Media Elite – John Ransom – Townhall Finance Conservative Columnists and Financial Commentary

So Fake It’s Real: Global Warming is Reality TV for the Media Elite – John Ransom – Townhall Finance Conservative Columnists and Financial Commentary.

Here’s my challenge to all the global warming apologists:

Explain to me why the “settled science” of global warming has to manipulate headlines to make information appear scarier and more threatening than the actual data shows. If global warming is so settled, why do you and your friends take the opportunity to exaggerate, obfuscate and slant every piece of news that comes out to make it seem relevant to today?

You can see an example of this in the headlines below:

Climate Change Main Contributor to Corn Volatility, Study Says” writes Bloomberg-BusinessWeek. “Climate Change Has Outsize Effect On Corn Price Volatility,” trumpets Climate Central. “Warming set to make corn prices pop,” says Agence France Presse.

“Climate Change to Affect Corn Prices, Study Says,” echoes the New York Times.

Nature Climate Change, a journal for the care a feeding of the climate change industry that masqeraudes as a peer-reviewed science rag, has published a new study that warns that “US corn price volatility to increase sharply in response to global warming projected to occur over the next three decades.”

Projected to occur over the next three decades.

The study  does not say that global warming is affecting the corn prices that are making today’s news, but rather corn prices that will be news in ten years or so.

But in another attempt to scare people into believing that a crisis has burst upon us, the media is using a self-serving expert study-  a study that is expert mostly at arguing propositions that are self-evident- to ratchet up the fear that global warming is out of control and to blame for high corn prices today.

You don’t have to be a grammarian to catch the tense and other tricks that the MSM is using to hype the results of the study.

The study says that if the climate change model predicted by global warming alarmists comes to pass, that the warming will have a bigger effect on corn prices than say, federal ethanol policies.

So in other words, the same dynamic- namely, crop yield derived from weather conditions– will continue to drive the price of corn in the same way crop prices have been affected for thousands of years.

Yet if you were to read the headlines, you’d think the current trend of high corn prices are the result of global warming, not the real culprit: mismanagement of monetary policy by Obama and the central banks which has had an inflationary affect on many commodities including corn, oil, gold and silver.

Certainly if temperatures in the corn-belt go up by an average of ten degrees by the end of the century, as predicated in the study, I can confidently say that, yes, corn prices will be affected more by warming than any other factor.

But the summary of the Nature report come with a lot of ifs, and, buts that add up to a great deal of uncertainty: “Closer integration of agriculture and energy markets moderates the effects of climate change, unless the biofuels mandate becomes binding, in which case corn price volatility is instead exacerbated.”

Got it? Integrate agriculture and energy, whatever that means, and you moderate volatility. Use agriculture as energy and you get more volatility.

It’s this kind of reporting by the MSM that has climate change skeptics like me increasingly convinced that much of the data is being intentionally manipulated by a media elite that can not tolerate debate, especially when they are really, really, really wrong.

We saw the same type of reporting lead to widespread predictions that killer hurricanes were becoming more commonplace, as a result of global warming. We had farfetched predictions every year of a dozen or so tropical cyclones bearing down on humans who refused to stop messing with Mother Nature. This continued until the results failed to materialize and the adults in hurricane science finally put and end to the farce with a report showing that no, global warming has had no affect on hurricanes.

We saw this same type of reporting lead to the hypothesis that polar bear cannibalism was on the rise as a result of global warming by the same discredited fools who predicted that polar bear populations were declining, when in fact, the polar bear populations are growing.

Last year every weather event from a drought in Texas, to cold weather in Europe has been blamed on global warming. This despite, um, little or no evidence: “”This is not the new normal in terms of drought. Texas knows drought. Texas has been toughened on the anvil of droughts that have come and gone. This is not a climate change drought. What we do anticipate from climate change is a situation where temperatures progressively increase,” said Dr. Robert Hoerling, a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration research meteorologist, who was a lead author of the U.S. Climate Change Science Plan Synthesis and Assessment Report and definitely a supporter of warming models.

We are at the point that we could have a record cold  snap around the world for several years in a row and global warming acolytes would work furiously on models to blame it on…global warming.

That ain’t science folks. That’s reality TV.

And while the clown college that makes up the dwindling media elite in this country continues to exaggerate, obfuscate and slant every piece of news that comes out to make it seem relevant to today, expect the folks at home to continue to give them the Donald Trump treatment.

Democrat Dick Durbin Says if You Don’t Buy a Hybrid Car We’re all Going to Die! – Godfather Politics

Democrat Dick Durbin Says if You Don’t Buy a Hybrid Car We’re all Going to Die! – Godfather Politics.

Every time there’s a weather event, liberal climate change fanatics tell us that our world is coming to an end, but if we do what government forces us to do, we’ll all survive. The latest Statist Chicken Little is Sen. Dick Durbin. The tornadoes that hit Dallas, Texas, last week is supposed to be incontrovertible evidence that “climate change” is real and humans are the ones who are responsible.

Global warming is said to be a recent phenomenon caused by excessive carbon emissions. If this is true, then what do we make of the tornado activity “that struck most of the Southern United States from April 2 to the early hours of April 4, 1957. The outbreak was most notable due to a tornado that hit a densely populated area of the Dallas Metropolitan area, while other deadly tornadoes struck portions of Mississippi, Texas, and Oklahoma. The two-day outbreak killed at least 19 across 3 states and produced 50 tornadoes from Texas to Tennessee.”

We know that in the 1970s, scientists were warning us about global cooling. What changed in 40 years? Certainly not carbon emissions since in the first half of the 20th century there smoke-stack cities like Pittsburgh pumping out the stuff like there was no tomorrow.

Global warming advocates are not much different from Burt Lancaster’s character in The Rainmaker (1956). Lancaster plays a con man that comes to a small town with the promise that he can make it rain.

Drbin and his fellow-climate change enthusiasts are political con men who believe they can control the weather through legislation. Like Lancaster’s character, it’s all a con to get our money and control our lives. But Lancaster only wants a hundred bucks. Durbin wants billions.

So what does Durbin want to fix our environment? He wants more expensive laws regulating carbon output. What’s the come on – every con has one – for us to support him? He’s issued a dire warning that we must convert to hybrid cars or lose our life. Of course, there’s always money involved – our money and his control of it.

“It’s your money or your life,” he said at a press conference. “We are either going to dedicate ourselves to a cleaner, more livable planet and accept the initial investment necessary or we’re going to pay a heavier price in terms of loss of human life, damage and costs associated with it.”

Hybrid cars take energy to run. Where will the energy come from? Durbin is like the woman in the documentary I saw about coal in West Virginia. She asked why we need coal. Couldn’t we just use electricity? In addition to being a high priced con man, Durbin believes in magic.
